I suppose people here know that how can we find the backlinks received by other websites via Google and other options. Is there any way to hide the source from where we receive backlinks to our sites?

    Hide from who ?
If the trustrank of these sites is low, this is not going to help you with your seo efforts and Google !
Now if you just want to hide from competitors the best is to have plenty i.e. more difficult over a thousand bls to see all details :D

the GG command link doesn't return all info, just a sample. However the GG webmaster tools give the info to the site owner. For other sites you dont own the best is to use yahoo

I don't understand this post. Is there any better way to find out backlinks of a website other than using the "link:domain.com" command in Google? I am using this command only to find out any backlinks. backlinkwatch and all just crap... not accurate is what I suppose.

I stumbled upon this site. It works pretty good to me seopro.com(dot)au or you can try Domain pop... Google it.

Most third party tools are based on Yahoo search, since the output from the Google link function is truncated. So would use Yahoo which would list the first 1000 bls.
For your own site you can use the GWT ...and see the difference with the link command by yourself.

If you hide the link from the search engines you want get a boost in the serps.

But id you want to hide the link i.e. you have a page where you don't want the search engines to see you linking out you could use javascript to generate the links for you.
