How to hide my public info

    Hi All,

    I want to hide the information about my domain & myself which is displayed on the below link permanently

    http://www.who.is/whois/Domainname.com/

    where Domainname is my website name

    All helps are appreciated.

    You can remove it with the help of extra security service provided by your domain seller. Few of the Web Domain sellers provide free while most of them charge a small fee.

    You have to use WhoisGuard if you are in Namecheap or Private Registration like service with your registrar.

    I have read that its slightly easier to take a domain off someone when the registration info is private.

    Most people use business information instead of personal information. There is no reason to put your home address and personal phone number there..that's just asking for it.
