Put this in your link tags
onmouseover="window.status='This is your mouseover text';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;"
    Code (markup):

I don't understand you. But try this:
    <a onmouseover="window.status='This is my mouseover text';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;" href="http://www.ebay.com">blabla</a>
    Code (markup):

I just copied your code.. removed the image and changed the href to point to google and it worked fine for me.

    <a onmouseover="window.status='AAA.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;" href="http://www.google.com">test</a>

Seems like it might be a problem with your URL. Test one thing at a time. Try the URL.. if it works, then add the mouseover events, etc.

There are plenty of affiliate management link scripts around, some free and some you have to pay for.

Some of the advertisers dont allow you to mask the URL so be sure they allow it or they might not pay out. :)

What in the world are you talking about?

There is an option to mask the destination URL for the browser when you create a link from within CJ. Either way, I think it's completely unnecessary to mask links for the visitor.
