Hi, I run a free message board hosting site and I'm looking into creating a section with tips for users to bring more traffic to their message board. This info needs to mainly help people just starting their message board but also those looking to grow their board. What do you think? I normally do paid advertising so I have no idea what to tell them since they will not be able to spend any money (hence why they are using free services) also advice like article submission would be pretty useless as they will not be interested in any "future traffic", basically they need a little activity quickly in order to retain intrest in their board, you understand. Let me get this straight. You are starting a section with expert advice, but you know nothing about it and expect others to fill it for you? Why don't you just read the forum. There are tons of excellent tips.
No need to be smart with me. I am not making some expert section on a site to try to boast traffic building skills, I'm trying to make a page in our users' contorl panels that can give them some tips to grow a small forum. I was requesting specific ideas for how people starting free forums should be advised to grow their boards.
