How to have the hading of the post in the URL instead of page numbers?

    I need to have the heading of the blog post in the URL linking to the post .... Please guide me to do so...

    Change the permalink to like this go to setting and select permalink and type /%postname%/

    Log in to your WordPress dashboard and click on the left hand side on the Settings tab and then click on the Permalink option
    Select the Custom Structure field and type in the following : /%postname%/ and then click on the Save Changes button and you're done
