There is another recent thread on this very subject. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=370936 Mark
I have seen less useful sites and small sites with almost no useful information which have site links. Hmm..
No . I dont think thats true. I have seen very small sites have site links. And I have seen HUGE sites without it
ya even i was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry curious to know about this one of my competitor has this type of results.
for this you need to have the first result on the page. as only first and foremost has multiple links.
That's true, my site is only approx 25 pages & I appear to have recently developed one extra link in my google search results. However, I'm not sure if it's because I google bookmarked it that it's showing up, & if so, is it only showing up on my pc? If anyone has the time to look, could you please google rosacea remedy ? & tell me if you see the extra link ? If it does show up, I doubt it has any significance. My site is suffering a big fat lowpoint as far as targetted traffic is concerned so it hasn't done any good. The only thing I can thinks of as to why the extra link is showing up (if indeed it is showing up to other searchers) is that it is the second most externally linked to page, on my site (apart from index)
this is what I see http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=rosacea+remedy&btnG=Google-søgning&meta= and I cant see site links there.. Unfortunately
I just found my site has the sitelinks as well (Take a look here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=digixmas ). It's small one-year-old site, PR3 with minimal backlinks. I was very happy when see it for the first time, because i though my site became "authority site". But now i think it's not true. My site can't be "authority site" .
