how to have copyright protection

    I have created some lessons, some content for my site. How to have copyright protection online for those content. I never done this before. please suggest

    Legally, any work you create is automatically copyright protected, you might register yourself as a trademark or alike which will scare people off stealing it

    its not clear to me. any work I create is automatically copyright protected? If anyone steal my content than i found those in other website what action i can take. How i will prove those are my content.
    & how to register myself as a trademark...im a newbie...pls explain

    Any written/published work is copy protected, in order to pursue a violation legally in the US you have to take the extra step of filing a copyright see http://www.copyright.gov

    Once you made it, it's copyright protected.

    Enforcing your copyright is the one that is difficult though. If you found out that someone copied your work without your permission, you need to hire a lawyer which can cause some money.
