Yes I know a lot of people put bulk email in the same class as spam, however that is far from the truth. Going by the law, bulk email can be a very big part of your marketing campaign. When you buy something from say amazon, they will hit you up with newsletters or show you other books by that author, etc. That is bulk email and it brings in a lot of repeat business. The article I wrote is quite long, but I went into detail regarding the following topics that you must followl

    1. Email addresses
    2. Subject Lines
    3. Advertisement Warnings
    4. Listing a physical address
    5. Using a remove option
    6. Fake headers (yea you will be screwed)
    7. Valid from addresses
    8. Using hijacked computers
    9. Using fake registration info
    10. Using multiple accounts.

I know there are people out there who just hate bulk email, I am not looking for death threats or being labeled as a spammer lol. I am just looking to shed some insight to new marketers who have thought about doing bulk email.

The article can be found here

As an Internet tool, emailing is often associate to spam activities but you said it all, real marketers know this is the cyber equivalent to mailing advertising campaigns, usually associated to mail orders.

People are given with the tool, but the way they use it is what makes the difference between spamming and deploy a real marketing campaign.
