I have just visited wonderhowto.com and saw all those "How to hack wifi" tutorials they have but the thing is they have Adsense ads showing on that tutorials. Can that content be monetized with Adsense? Thanks
Sure it can! If you want a ban that is...Pretty sure the TOS preclude you from putting adsense ads on anything promoting something illegal. When thinking about such things with regards to adsense, simply put yourself in the shoes of a prospective advertiser and think "Would I be happy seeing my ad next to that content? Or would my clients be happy to see my company associated with that content?" - if the answer is no, then it's likely that adsense will be saying no as well. Hope that helps you and others. You could run ads alongside such content but the minute an adwords advertiser tracks back or sees their ad on such a site and complains to google, expect to get banned within minutes of the advertisers complaint. Googles duty first and foremost is to protect it's advertisers - a fact that many who get banned forget along the way.
they might not be using their own ad code, and be instead using the ad code of another site in an attempt to cripple their income? (dont know if that still works, but I used to have my ads showing up on different websites that I hadnt authorised, which is why I ensured that I had a list of all my authorised sites to prevent this. )
