It's easy if you can just get a link from a higher PR site. I have about 20 PR6 and PR5 sites and it doesn't mean squat. I would say forget a bout PR, it means nothing, it doesn't do anything for your traffic. Just my opinion though. :D

    How about some content?

Add new content on a weekly basis (atleast 500 words) and I bet you jump up to a PR5 in the next update.

But who cares about PR? The real question is, are you ranking for your keywords?

Actually PR is more valuable than people thought. Forst many people look at it as a way to figure out if your website is any good. Many companies before doing any business whith your website check your PR first. It shows that you are a trusted source on the internet also that you are not jsut another deadbeat website that will fail in a week. It also shows your SEO skills on how well you can get your website reccognized by search engines and such. It's also a good way to measure where your efforts have taken you on the internet. All this in one litlle thing called pagerank.

    Thank You

I think that the Google PR shows an image of your site in a way.

What if MySpace or eBay had a PR 0 or 1? That would be wierd wouldn't it? :D

Unless things have changed "PageRank" is "Page" not "Site" specific.

Also, the amount of "PageRank" that transfers FROM a given "Page" will be dependent on the number of links on that page.

There are plenty of threads on this at DP if you're interested in reading more.

Make sure you have a lot of internal links, this way you don't lose PR.
