Best and safest option is escrow.com to sell domains.
    First recieve payment.
Then ask buyer to create a free account with your registrar,
Finally push/move domain in that accout :)

    All the best,

It depends on what registrar you're using. There's different processes for each of them, so we need to know what you're using to give you a really accurate response. Usually, domain sales can be handled through PayPal (go with an Escrow service for payments over $100, though). To receive payment through PayPal, you give the buyer your email address associated with PayPal. He sends you the money. After that, you need to collect information from them. What information depends on the registrar. For GoDaddy, for example, you need to basically collect all of their account and contact information. Then, you push the domain (under the domain management in GoDaddy). It can be a little difficult at first but after pushing a domain a couple times it's really easy.
