How To Get Your Website "Crawled" And Indexed In No Time

How do you get a new website crawled and indexed by Google and other search engines in a matter of hours and days instead of weeks? There are a few secrets to doing that. Here are some advanced tactics to getting your site listed in the search engines as quickly as possible:

    Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking has become immensely popular over the past year or so, with people having the ability to find interesting sites recommended by others in a mega huge "bookmarks folder". You can use social bookmarking sites to link to your newly created website. Just be sure to include your main keyword phrase in the link.

    Free Blogs

Blogs are also great for getting indexed quickly because search engines view blog sites like Blogger and Wordpress as authority sites. Blogs are also indexed quickly by search engines, meaning you can ride on their efforts. Post a link to your site in the blogroll or in a blog post.

    Forum Posting

Forums are also awesome for super quick indexing because forums are constantly updated with new content, so search engines love them. Join a few authority forums related to your website's topic and start posting on them, being sure to have an anchor text link in your signature file.

Once you put these 3 tips into action, your site should be indexed in just mere hours or at most a couple of days, while others wait for weeks on end to see their site appear on Google and Yahoo!

Sure, great tips. I always use to do first two things and I use to get links without "nofollow".;) Thanks for sharing.

Nope, it doesn`t matter. Nofollow links are fine for indexing, they just do not pass PR juice.

All of the above is good advice. I also use bookmarking demon. I have gotten indexed between 1 hour and 3 days tops.

    Good tips.

Another thing you can do is to make an xml sitemap of your site and submit it to Google via Webmaster Tools.

I'd like to add one more:

Blog commenting --- This is also very useful to get your site indexed in no time. Even though it is said that blog comments are "no-followed" but google does actually follow them (For discovering new websites).

Dofollow blogs are nice for the link juice. But nofollow blogs are also nice for some REAL visitor visits.

Imagine putting your links in a PR5 nofollow blog read by 1000 uniques everyday, eventhough no link juice, but say if 10 % of the uniques click on your links and go to your site everyday...hmmmm :D
