How to get your site indexed faster in google <A noob's Guide>

I've bascially did it this way. I have proof as of this writing 2/26/08.

Type these keywords into Google S.E "Good Content Websites". (without quotes).

You will see one of my websites at the number 2 and 3 position. The site is only about 3 months old. Very few links...Don't even have it optimized yet.

How did I do it? By writing articles on "good content" and submitting them to article directories.

I did NOT pay any submission service nor did I pay for SEO.

Thank you for your guide. I use xml-sitemaps.com also and I am glad I happed to see it. There is just little trick I want to share. The first time I downloaded the site map generated for my site, I pasted it in a Notepad and ftp the saved notepad sitemap. However when I notify Google of the sitemap I got "format file" error message. What I did is to ftp the file that I downloaded from xml-sitemap. This version of sitemap worked.
