    Social Bookmarking will get you off to a good start. Ping your blog. Ping your blog's RSS Feed. It can take anywhere from thirty minutes to two weeks.

    Post an ad in Craigslist Small Business ads - San Francisco Bay area =>PR8 w/ a link going to your site, and also... with domain name mentioned within the ad. This also gets you indexed very fast. Of course if you post a few ads it works even better.
    Don't forget to renew your ad(s) when they expire.
    Also.. try: Backpage ... Phoenix, AR, and Livingston, NJ These have good PR also. Do the same procedure as Craigslist. Usually you'll see results within a day or two.
