How to get Work ?

How people get works (SEO,Web Designing,Software Development) from online other than freelance sites and forums trade section ?

Any other methods ?

 

First you have to have a good iTrader and more importantly a portfolio. If you don't already have a portfolio, offer a promotional period where you do review copies for a drastically cheap price on the agreement that you can use your work in your portfolio. Once you have a built up portfolio and generally a good rep for yourself, you will get more jobs

 

I am having a good portfolio.
But since I am new, I don't have an itrade ?


I want to know other methods than this forum trade section.

 

well you can promote your portfolio so people will recognize it and maybe hire you. first of all you need to kind of get you know and then people will come to you and ask if you can work with/for them

 

Personally I would concentrate on offline sales as well, unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

Approach potential businesses and offer your services to them. Get your name out there. Attend functions of importance and have your buisiness card ready for people.

 

Will I get good work if I kept my portfolio in my signature ?

I wonder about it, because I have seen many many people offering services for cheap rates.

 

yes I did but you're right there are too much people around offering their *skills* at low rates but thats no reason to do the same for me. I'll only take jobs that are paided good enough
