I want to move my site from one host to another host. Kindly guide me that how can get backup of images. I have over 20,000 images in my site.
Go to cpanel -->. File Manager. Compress your all files and download them with FTP. If the size is very huge than compress them in small part. This will be time consuming.
If both servers have cpanel it's easy to transfer files between them. Go to Backup/Restore -> Take manual or Partial Backups -> Then go to new hosting account -> Go to cpanel -> Go to Backup/restore -> upload previousely downloaded backup files.
You could buy the backupbuddyplugin and that could help. It is like $50 per year but it can easily backup your site. I think it is worth it.
Compress all your files in TAR or TAR.GZ format. Take a backup your database from PHPMyAdmin. And now transfer them all to your new server.
