How to get visitors?

Hello,

I started a celebrity site (news, photos, forums). I don't know if I'm allowed to put my link here, so I won't put it yet .

Besides submitting my site to directories and trade links with similar sites, what can I do to get more visitors?

Social bookmarking sites and article submissions are some other ways to get more visitors. Do a search in dp on those two topics will yield some interesting ideas

 

Since you can use the signature feature, you can also put in links. No problem.

 

You can invest some money aswell, by buying advertisements on other sites.

 

Since your can contain some highly controversial subjects, I'd go ahead and find something that people will really want to see and spread the word about through forums and such. Most recently Britney Spears flashed her private area, I'm sure 90% of the internet went to try and see the pictures. When something else like that happens, be quick to get some information on it on your site, and then let the public come see it.

 

social bookmarking spcially del.icio.us and digg can give you huge traffic,
And article sites also work but social bookmarking is best if you don't want to spend money

 

google adwords will send you visitors very quick but will cost you some.

 

Submit your site to directories and work on getting your site ranked on the first page of Google. Viral marketing also works well, and Adwords can also be an option.

 

Content is the king .
