I agree with everyone's advice and in particular ppc. PPC helped me to determine what keywords to use and how many people are interested in my service. I'm still a novice at seo, but this is a great place to learn and seek advice.
Exactly.. Do write original content, and try to submit as much as social networks you can.. it really works to drive traffic. and remember do not use black hat seo...! Have a great surfing !
Traffic to your site really depends on content. I have realized that there are 3 classifications of content Poor Content. No traffic Good Content. Some Traffic Great Content. Tons of Traffic. Now with the poor content you are technically hoping for someone to dig deep into Google to find your site. With Good Content if luck is on your side you might make the first page of Google. Great content your article will be listed in the top 5 of Google and you will get a ton of free targeted traffic to your site with in 1 day after submitting article to directory.
Have a topic which will become a hit online. The more controversal it gets the more likely traffic will go up. But you should look out for bounce rates.
Forum posting, blog commenting, articles submitted to as many article directories as possible - all containing a link to your squeeze page. But post relevant and useful content, don't just spam the forums and blogs with comments like "Great post". Chances are your comment will be deleted or not approved.
Oh, by the way I also wanted to say that if you post good relevant content in your articles and posts, people would be more likely to click your link.
