How to get traffic?

I have some blogs, some of which are having unique articles written by me. Some other blogs have free articles obtained from free article websites. But traffic is very low on all. What according to your view should help to get traffic:

1. Getting one way backlinks from high PR sites
2. Doing SEO

Blogs are often SEO friendly to start with, so you just need to post some interesting content and then promote it in order to get links in.

 

Both of them are equally important. You may also want to try other methods such as signing up for blog networks mybloglog, blogrush and my roomie.

Another is when the images from your blog got index which can give you a tons of traffic

You always promote your blog on every thread here buddy... Self promotion is good but we need contribution....

 

all you have to do is find a topic that will bring you traffic, for example, blog about "myspace proxy" . since myspace proxy is in demand you'll probably get a hundred of traffic even if you are ranking in top 100 or 200 of google and yahoo. Myahe is right.You should practice Social media optimization to develop content targeted at a specific social audience.another thing is focus on the growth of RSS feed or email newsletter subscriber.It think this would build regular audience to your site and at the same time improve your site traffic...

Friends, I am not aware of all these terms and do not know how to do it all. Foe instance, my blog is http://increaseyourbrainpower.blogspot.com what should I do to get traffic. This is my site in which I have tried to introduced some new ideas. It also appears at various places in google search for specific keywords. But I am concerned with getting automatic traffic of say 500 visits per day. What can I do? What is the easiest way for a layman like me to do to get this traffic. Purchasing backlinks? Also what is on-page, and how to do it? How to do SMO and social bookmarking etc. Your suggestions can really help me.

 

Have you checked if the keywords you are using move that amount of traffic???, so as you be able to rely on the organic search?
