how to get traffic with new forum

It's not easy promoting a new forum. Try to get some friends to post content regularly and perhaps that may help. So many ways you can get traffic...facebook, twitter, youtube, article marketing..etc

Before your forum site you need to have auto blog posting site so that many pages gets crawled and many spam comments you will receive. After that you change your site to forum site then many spam commented visitors registers in your forum site and guess what spam comments will be your content generating lots of traffic.
This will take at least 1 year. Try auto blogging for 6 months then remove that pages database then add forum in your site and watch your spam comments in your forum as many of them would be adult links posting in your forum be sure to delete that.
Another 6 months to drive traffic to your forum.

Then try very hard to get traffic to your site. Before forum site if your website was an auto blogging then many pages would have been crawled and would have received lot of spam comments.

 

just promote your forum and get higher page rank

Hey, don't bash him PM. Its been 6 months and he has 18 posts. Eighteen! And SEVEN members! Quite an achievement I say.

That's the most generic forum on the planet though, what have you got to offer there that, say, DP doesn't?

 

He has an unedited/un-customized vBulletin style I have no idea why some people don't even bother using a different style.
