How to get traffic to my new site?

Hi all,I have created my first website, which has been up for about two weeks now. It currently has about 10 pages of unique content, a blog and I have plans to add more pages and content. I have also created a Facebook page which is starting to get a few "likes". I contribute to site related forums and pushing the site via PM to those forum members etc.My question is, what else can I do to drive more traffic to my site? Many Thanks

 

pm-ing your site to forumers is spam, that won't be a good traffiic for you while your reputation will suffer from that.
All you can do is write as many interesting content to your blog as you can
also choose some low frequency keywords and add them to your site's meta tag, build some links to your site from blog comments, forum signatures, create some social bookmarks and so on. there's lot of info here.

You can also write articles on the subject matter that your site is on and submit them to article directories. Within these articles and also in your signature you can back link to your website. Make sure its a good article though!

 

for a few site. just focus first on the content coz even if you have a traffic but the content is not good. the visitors won't be coming back to your site.

 

Make blog and post there interesting article and also submit article in various high pr article site. Improve your content add a rss feed submit it many rss site. give a option for your visitor to make comment. Make your content with more visual effect if possiable add some video. It will be helpful. Keep your blog more entertaining.

 

Participate in guest posting with quality content. Which is help to derive huge traffic to a website.

 

You can do below strategies. You can get more traffic for your website.

Building traffic takes time, you could plan a social media strategy or a long term blog commenting campaign. etc Don't rely on SEO
Create great content that is engaging and informative and put it in highly trrafficed places that are relevant to your niche such as facebook groups, Google hangouts, YouTube videos

 

Do everything SEO,SMM ,SMO.......experiment everything.........and see the result......

I think you need to upload more Original contact on your site, then you will receive more Traffic at you site. and you your site update fast...

As your website is new, you have to just focus on On Page SEO and Social Media Optimization (Google plus, twitter, Facebook, linkedin, reddit, delicious, Stubmleupon and lots more). At the same time just maintain the quality of the content.
And ignore the black hat techniques of SEO otherwise you may be hit hard by Google.

 

You promote your site in the social site like Facebook,orkut,linkedin and twitter and more other.
