Hi all, I own http://bit.ly/adCuCb. This blog doesn't have much of traffic but has a PR3. All posts in the blog are written by me but I dont receive traffic and I do know why. The reason is I haven't done anything for the blog (I am supposing that other bloggers take help from spammers or seo experts or do it them selves). I dont know anything related to getting traffic at a site. I am a PHP coder. So please tell me good proper SEO tips or whatever can get me real traffic? Thanks, praateekcom

Yes, links should be your main objective. However, for a newer blog, there are other ways you can spark interest. I would recommend, at first, utilizing social media as your primary marketing tool. By keeping a presence on social media sites, you are allowing others to do your marketing for you. Let me give you an example: A colleague of mine had a website, lets just call it XYZ.com. One day, a very influential Facebooker (usually just someone with a lot of friends) "liked" his page. The result: XYZ.com experienced 300 unique visitors that day. The traffic source: Facebook.
