Traffic exchanges is only a small piece of the puzzle your other options are as mentioned by socialmediamarketing01 in post #2, the only other ways really are to build more keyword targeted websites to funnel the traffic to your site. Or buy domains with high traffic and redirect it to your site or pay to advertise your site on ppc networks and the like.
