    Google search - using AdWords keyword tool find keyphases, click [exact], see how many monthly searches. Then search on google for this keyphases and check the first pages with http://pagerank.my-addr.com/online-bulk-fake-pagerank-checker-tool.php to see their PageRank. Make pages on your site and do link building, but don't make many links at once.
    Google+ is a new social networking site. You can use it to get traffic to your site.

    There are a lot of factors that go into ranking, such as website authority, inbound and outbound links, and the different types of keyword relevancy (title, meta, and body). There are free tools such as Google Keywords you can check out to see the search volume of each keyword.
