Theres a bunch of threads on here about utilizing digg, just use the search feature above, and search the thread titles not entire thread. You should find a lot of good stuff that way.
Just ask your friends to digg your article (which is posted already in the digg) or you can do mutual digging. If your page gets maximum digg and happens to come to the the first page, then you will get terrific traffic
Try to get past the 20 Diggs barrier and even your submission did not get onto the Digg frontpage, it will be noticed among the upcoming Diggs section.
You have to really submit something with an unusual headline or something outraegeous to capture someones attention on Digg get others to Digg your story. Most of the time a boring headline will not get viewed or dug. I like to use Digg more for backlinks than for traffic.
1.) Study DIGG. What kind of stuff is popular over there? Follow suite. But the top ones are funny, pictures, videos, and making money. 2.) Don't try to sell something. If they like your stuff, they will go to your site naturally. 3.) Do NOT put in live links! The reason being obvious. Again, if you have good stuff, they will copy ans paste your url in their address window. In addition, leave out your URL in your first few postings. Give the impression that you are threre to just pass along funny, cool, or educational info. 4.) Be genuine, be more familair by putting in your name. Take an extra step by putting in your age and what state you are in. Look at all the posters here on this board who give their age and which state they are from. Be REAL! 5.) Go look at JohnChow.com's earlier pages. Before he was banned over there, he did a lot of submissions. Look for subjects that were dug the most. Do the same in other sites. Write all of these popular subjects down for future reference, and then follow suite. 6.) Do NOT submit every day! Do it only a few times a week. That's the biggest reason why so many get banned.
