how to get traffic for a arcade games website?

I just stabilished an arcade games website

But I dont know how to promote it, can some1 with arcade website help me in how to get traffic pls.

As you know , there are thousands of game sites that has same games and same keywords. You need to think different first. For example, you can make a research for newly added games (about politics, celebrities, anything that is trendy) and add them to you web site with clever titles instead of adding only the game name.

You can create a web blog to publish your game sites features, newly added games and plans. This will work because blogs get ranked better than sites and it may help you to generate a small buzz.

Create campaigns to let people blog and write about you. Being ranked well means, people talk about your site. So focuse on making a difference and make people talking about your site.

 

why don't you read previous threads there are tons of answers already, search is your friend, what's the difference between promoting a game site and a clothing site? geez

 

By making animated advertisement that attract people more towards your site or by a unique name of your web site.

 

use social networking sites, and some SEO knowledge. You can easly drive the traffic.

 

use Google alert, it is good to know every new games, get it and change the title

 

picture is more directed to the site should be interesting games and coloring

 

Try also to join some gaming related forum.
