How to get top ten raking for general & popular keyword?

Hello All,

I have ranking for general & popular keyword (for example - Insurance) 13 in google.co.in and I want to it in top ten. I am doing SEO since 3 years and not able to get top ten raking till now. I did all the possible seo techniques of SEO but trying hard to get top ten ranking. Please suggest ways to get top ren ranking for general & popular keyword like insurance.

I wish you gave the ways which you already tried so it would have been easier to respond with OTHER ways . When you say you have tried ALL tricks of the trade , what exactly is your definition of "ALL" ?
I am using guest blogging extensively to get traffic and I am doing pretty well with the ranking and traffic .

I think that we can take in top Ten Ranking from Directory submission.

 

Add fresh compelling content to your site to which other sites would like to link to by mentioning in their posts . Write guest posts on other blogs that will get you backlinks + traffic + recognition and brand visibility . Do article directory submissions and web 2.0 optimization and always keep a tab on your keywords via keyword brain storming .

 

Alot of backlinks, and content. It could (and should) take a while. Don't give up though!
