Having a high ranking site needs lots of time. Just what im always saying to my collegue: PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.
Well personally speaking, I had got top rankings within a week for many of my new proxy sites. By choosing one keyword in title tag <h1> or <h2>, relevant content and anchor text from the backlinks{same keyword}. I used to submit the site to many bookmarking sites. The organic traffic from google is also stable. [atleast 1500 to 3000 uniques from SERPS alone] Once, I also got Top 10 ranking within 24 hours from the time of social bookmarking.
Yeah, digg is an authority bookmarking site. But stumbleUpon got more user compare to digg if you based statistically stumbleUpon is a good target.
Its possible, depending on the keyword competition. You can move to top10 for medium competitive keywords in 2 days (domain age is still the key factor). Have done it recently without social bookmarking or blackhat.
you cant get top ranking in just 48 hours you need to work hard and to build back links to your website and thats will take month it took me to month hard work to get page rank 2 for my blog
I believe that domain age plays a big factor on how to get Top Rankings, my experiment subdomain blog also get listed in 24hrs. and i get top position on medium keyphrase in 3 days.
I doubt any company would survive if it had that as it's service. They wouldn't be able to do it even 10% of the time and it would most likely be black hat techniques.
The only way for this issue is just about link building, but the question is: How can you get tons of relevant backlinks in 48hrs?
i've been on front page with in 2 -3 days before but it's usually on 2 -3 word search phrases , been posting loads on forums and have links back to my sites with those kwords and sending loads of my content to digg, delicious and similar. but as mentioned they're usually long search phrases and don't get any more that 40 - 50 searches per day. being on front page on good keywords can be a long journey
If there even was a way... you don't want it. Google will probably end up recognizing this as some kind of spam attempt, which it more than likely would be, so you would be better off going the slow and steady way
I'm sure it's possible if you can get one-way links from Google, Yahoo, Dmoz and Wikipedia within 48h.
