    the directory for yahoo .com you have to pay and it dosnt garanty you a better position in yahoo.
    but it helps for google :D

    My blogs rank well, but they don't use the word "blog", so do you mean a specific CMS? I use straight up .com's though, so do you mean bloghosts like blogspot?

    Actually, I'm not so sure if it "doesn't grant you a better position". I've purchased it for one of my sites and definitely saw a boost. What they probably mean to say is that they aren't giving a special boost for it. But the Yahoo bots still crawl their own directory, you better believe it!

    yahoo is not so much about authority backlinks like google, it seems they care about quick links much more then google.

    For yahoo it seems like the more backlinks the better. Yahoo seems to rank backlinks over good quality content so just keep submitting to more directories and you should eventually rank higher!
