How to get top position??

Actually my keywords are
Packers and Movers
Packers & Movers
Packers Movers
Packers and movers Chennai
Packers and movers Delhi
Packers and movers Bangalore
Packers and Movers Mumbai
Packers and Movers Ahmedabad
Packers and movers Pune
packers and movers Kolkata

The above all keywords are coming within 7 pages of google.co.in. Last 1 month my keywords was same position & little bit up and down. Pls give some ideas to bring more traffic to my side.

& also last month i changed my website (www.bestpackersnmovers.com) in static html to wordpress. It's worth for SEO?? Because before wordpress theme my alexa traffic rank is good compare than now??

 

actually static html is the best for seo,but wordpress is okay,easy to configure with some plugins

 

in wordpress u can look perm link str and retain the old link str

 

Do onsite SEO. This means in the title, H1 tags, targetted and unique content. If you can have the keyword on your domain name the better. Try to target one keyword per page.

Wordpress is the most effective CMS in my opinion for SEO. You have to make sure that you have a search engine friendly url and also start building links to your site.

 

If you are new to SEO then Download any free SEO ebook from google and follow it up..

Do offpage optimization: submit to directories, social bookmarking sites, exchange links, buy links if you have the budget, do article marketing.

Alexa isn't really the best indicator of success for SEO. I would focus on whether your rankings per keywords are improving. And yes, wordpress is great for SEO. You just need to make sure your titles are optimized, write good content and the rankings should flow from your old domain to the new.
