Hi, Here is a preview when I search someones website on "Google". How do I get the same structure as that on my website? I am not sure how to do the SAME structure. Screenshot:
They're called sitelinks. You don't do anything, Google puts them in listings when they think it's useful for searchers. Having a clear navigation structure seems to help, other than that there's nothing you can do to influence it. In Google Webmaster Tools you can block sitelinks that you don't want shown, but there's nothing you can do to suggest them.
Yes, they are sitelinks I used to think about it myself when i launched new websites two years back, but ultimately left hope To my surprise, a month back i found in my webmaster tools few sitelinks for both the websites, what i realised through my experience is that sitelinks comes up when you site consistently ranks for particular keyword and searchers start reaching your website (consistently) through that keyword, then over a period of time google see that you have something up on that webpage and it adds that to your sitelink with the keyword as anchor. I have seen few of my pages with those anchors which i never promoted them though
Yes, this the property of Google. Even you can find two pages from same website on number 1 and 2 position in Google. The first one has the preview as you have shown and the other is simple link from same website. So don't bother much about this and try to get your website higher in SE's.
If you wan't to learn SEO I recommend you read http://www.websitepublisher.net/seo-guide/ and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=413544
As others have said it is random and even if you are number 1 it is not definately going to happen I will give a couple of examples RE a couple of my sites on Google.co.uk if you Google "hire the uk's best SE0" (change 0 for o) you will see my site and hobo-web in the top positions usually with me as number 1 but no site links underneath Same for "hire a carto0nist" (Change 0 for o) the same thing I am number 1 but no site links. It's best not to worry about it. I have many sites and URL's where I have 2 results on page 1 and the "see more reults" link though have never, as yet, seen this occur when I only have 1 page 1 result for a search term (on the same site) anyone any experience of just 1 result and getting the see more results link or is it a case of needing 2 results on page 1 only do you think?
