How to get the best out of an article?

I want to submit an article and I have the following questions.

    1. Can I use more than one submission service - isnare.com, articlesender.com, etc. or is there any problem with it?
    2. The submission sites do not allow text links or website links. You can only include website name. How does this help in getting links for SEO?
    3. Does it help to post the article on my website first and wait few days for SE's to crawl before submitting to others?

    Thanks,

If you use articlesender (a site of a close contact of mine)

In the author section you can use html, ie. where you put the anchor text link

    For e.g. a recent article i wrote

You can see that the words "search engine optimisation" right at the bottom are a text link to my site, i didnt make the words of my site a hyperlink but sometimes some sites do that aswell

Yes, i advise waiting till the content is indexed on your site

I'd ask bloggers or sites related to your niche to post the article with a link back to your site. You'll more then likely get a better response from click-thru's and search engines.

I should still use submission service after posting the article on mysite or as a blog, right?

There is a reference to "Article Post Robot" in another post of this forum. How does it compare with isnare or articlesender?
    Thanks,

Well, that might be the enticing hook to get them to display your content on their site (to their traffic) is a "unique content"...not an article that's been a little hoe all across the net.

I'd designate a couple articles for large sites with lots of uniques and use the "unique content" hook, then I'd also have a few articles for submitting to your everyday, run-of-the-mill article directory sites.
