How to get the 4 digit paypal verification code

Hi,

I started a paypal account using my hdfc credit card and applied for verification. They took $1.95 from my account and ask me for the 4 digit verification code. when i am asking my card service provider for this they are giving 6 digit numeric numbers like "454040" Is it valid? or what is the exact name of this verification code? and how many days paypal will give me the time to verify?

 

The four digits will be under description of the transaction immediately before the word Paypal

Example: 1234PAYPAL

You will be able to see it yourself under Unbilled Transactions in your credit card account online.

You will get u 4 digit paypal verification code from ur monthly statement

 

Even if you have online banking, you will have to wait a couple of days before the transaction shows up on your online statement. You would not be able to miss it though because of the dollar value for the transaction. If you do not have online banking then you should just wait for the delivery of your printed statement or request an early printout of your statement from your financial institution.
