How to get targetted visitors for my keyword ?

    My keyword for my article is "engineerring Models".I'm getting backlinks for this page but doesn't seem to be helping.My article is no where seen in the results.

    Can you suggest me all the free ways to get my article to the top for my keyword ? Apart from Backlinks ? hanks

    Usually articles gets top of the SERP's by the influence of social media sites. Share your article in those sites, promote your RSS feed. This will brings your article to the top only if your article is well optimized with your mentioned keyword.

    It takes time to rank in first page
    Also you need to do thing corect and the right way maybe you are not building enouf links and you are not patient ...

    Syndicate the content of your artiles by doing some link building efforts like social bookmarking, or by using social networking sites like facebook and twitter

    Unfortunately backlinks is the only decent way of getting your website/article up there. But it takes time and requires more than just a few backlinks. It takes time. So you will get up there sooner or later. Further, have you tried search for alternative keywords? Try to use at least 3 keywords in your article that will help.

    you have to chose better related keywords for your website. your keyword must be high search volume...check your keyword, is it high search volume and less competitive.

    Many article directories are good for building backlinks for your website. So be patient and keep do it for a long time for making your website in a high ranking of google.

    The best way and ofcourse the hard way is to do social bookmarking for all your articles. Go ahead and create accounts in all the sites which are given in the 'addthis' widget. Those sites are there in the widget which means they are important. Submit your article URLs in all those sites and also make sure you do cross bookmarking in these networking sites. While doing these bookmarks, you should also add atleast 5-10 new users as friends for your account. Later on keep commenting, liking, voting for their posts and bookmarks too, so that you will get the same in return. Also make sure you are implementing your link building activities properly ;)
