Hi All, Could any body know how to get relevant traffic for a site? I am also interested for link buying with good PR. Could it will be help full for my sites. I am doing link building DIR submission for sited but not getting good trafics.
You're always going to be ballancing your time and your money. The fastest way to get "relaveant" traffic is with a PPC system like Google Adwords. The down side of that, is that it can be expensive unless you spend the time to optimize it. I know a guy who spents $10K a year on adwords, but he makes $40-$50K in sales. It appears that you're promoting loan and debt sites. Those keywords are terribly expensive, because you're competeing with banks. One of the things I'm doing to compete in the same arrena is to use a free news letter: (check out http://www.DebtRoom.com for an example.) I use JV Responder Pro to split commissions for other people who want to promote the newsletter on their own site.
Google adwords is the best but if your content is competitive, people will just go to your site... The above site has been posted only in forums (signatures) during it's first day but after 3 days, look at the result from google...and the pages people are viewing...
BDazzler is right - PPC via adwords is probably not right for you as you're trying to get traffic to debt/finance niches. The people you're up against have ad budgets that probably come close or over $1m so don't try competing there. I have a few finance sites, and I focus on free traffic generation techniques. For example, two simple ones are forum posting and submitting youtube videos on keyword related topics. Also check Yahoo Answers as lots of poeple post questions there for debt/finance and I've generated lots of traffic this way by answering questions and leaving a sig for more details. If you or anyone wants more info on how to generate free traffic for niches where adwords is out of the question, PM me and I'll help.
Article marketing is a good place to start to get traffic, I use Insare.com - You should also add those articles to your website, cross link all the pages. A good viral marketing tool will also help you ...
you could join online community with the same niche and advertise there. you could also use PPC if you have the budget.
I agree with everyone in this post. but the PPC is use money and knowledge so much. Can you advice a cheap & smart idea to drive traffic to website?
There's no excuse not to pursue knowledge. There are a lot of free or inexpensive resources to learn about your niche. Money, now that's another matter. If you don't want to spend money, your other choice is spending time. Time blogging or commenting on blogs. Time social bookmarking. Time posting to directories. Time finding link partners. etc. Smart use of these ideas means effective use of software tools to speed these processes up, but again, the software tools cost money. I found this other post by Silveraden which I think addresses your issue nicely: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=960066
Directories wont give you any traffic and they are over used for SEO, try writing articles and doing some social bookmarking.
Conversion rates depend A LOT on your ad, which sets up expectations, your landing page which does the sale, and what you are asking for in a conversion. If you put a price in your ad, for example, you will get a lower CTR, but a higher convesion rate, because people clicking thru already realize they will be asked for money. If you ask only for a name and email address, for example, with the proper form and incentives, you can get a fairly high initial conversion, and you have more time to make sales. The idea is that you test one feature at a time. For example, first you tune your ad to get the CTR you want, then you tune your offer to get the conversion you want. Read about a concept called "split testing" to get the general idea.
Article marketing is great. It will get you laser targeted traffic and will help provide backlinks to your site. If you can't write the articles yourself, pay someone to write them for you. It is cheaper than PPC in the long run. PPC will work faster though and may be a good way to start for quick testing while your articles start circulating.
hi, if you dont want to do ppc which is expensive anyway try using bum marketing & devise a plan this way you will be working building traffic & see when your conversions starts coming htrough as ppc is tagetted & u do get traffic but unless your very competitive its pointless.
