    Hey Chris!

There's a great site called Instant IG Posts, which is great for getting real, engaged, followers in a business' target market. It has a few great features:
    1) Allows you to schedule Instagram posts
    2) Upload content from ANY device (in bulk, too)
    3) They will interact & network on Instagram for you (This is the pro plan).... For example, I know if you are selling women's clothes, they will make sure your posts have the proper hashtags, as well as interact with possible customers, post & comment on other Instagram profiles in your target market, etc.

    Here's a link http://instant-ig-posts.myshopify.com

If you're hunting down your audience, you're already in trouble. You have to let them come to you, or at least go to the places they are. Maybe try guest blogging on travel sites and link to your Twitter/FB/etc.

You need to be part of the conversation, position yourself as an industry leader and then they'll follow. Try Google+ communities--they have tons of categories that you can participate in that will put you in touch with people who share your interests/are your target audience. Especially if you're in travel/outdoors, there are TONS of communities on Google+

And Google+ helps in the SERPs even if Google doesn't want to admit it.

Well, you can always have the FB page you create to use for like exchanging. Then, find someone skilled in making apps and use the app to send people discount alerts. This is a competitive niche, but if you find a way to reach your ideal audience, it should go well.

A lot of people have mentioned it and that's engaging on other peoples content.

There are 2 good ways to find people in your niche or topic you are talking about and that's with #hashtags. Most of the big social networks use some form of hashtaging and it is a good way to find other people talking about what you are.

Second way it to leverage influences in your niche. You can see who are following them and start engaging with those people as well as build relationships with the influencers. In doing so they might start sharing your content with their audience.

You don't ever need buy likes, shares, etc. You want to build relationships with people because it will build a more sustainable business in the long run.

Having read through this thread, It disgusts me that people will even dare to mention buying likes/followers. Its this kind of BS that make social networks useless for both users and marketers.

If you buy fake followers (actually just fake accounts and robots), yes you will have 20,000,000,000,000 followers but do you think they will listen to you when you speak? do you think that they will engage with the content you post? do you think that they hold any value at all other than make your following count look bigger? You are only fooling yourself.

Similarly, other services like Twiends are also just a joke, yes this time they may be "real" people but the way these services work is you follow someone for a credit then can spend that credit on getting someone else to follow you. This is not helpful one bit, as all of your followers have only one goal, to get more followers again they are not genuine people who will be interested in your brand or services they will most likely be SEO companies trying to grow accounts to look bigger.

There is only one way to make your social networks grow into a tool that provides a relevant audience for your business or message and that is to engage with niche relevant influencers, share information that your audience will be interested in (do not be afraid to share competitors stuff, be the bigger person), find and follow people that your brand/service or message would be suited to, favourite tweets that are interesting within your niche.

There are many other aspects that could be massaged into working for your growth campaign but there are a few tips to get you started. The methods I employ come from a very long time developing social media strategies for businesses large and small.

With all of this in mind I was inspired to create a twitter service that utilises all of these strategies and more (strategies that even some of the four figure per month SMM guys don't know or don't use) at a price point that is accessible to absolutely ANY start-up or small business (or large corporation for that fact), if you are interested in more please do take a look at https://thetweetrocket.com

You can use targeted Facebook Ads. That should help and look for people with the same interest on Twitter by using the search field just type your niche and you should be able to click People. These are two ways.

Social networking sites like Facebook, twitter and google plus have a large amount of traffic and they are the best place to redirect traffic to your website. You should use various techniques to redirect traffic to any website. You can use the following strategies:
    • Attention, engagement, conversation and recognition.
    • Spreading your message far and wide.
    • Prospects and subscriber opt-ins.
    • Media and interviews, which lead to more attention.

There is no trick to get Facebook and twitter followers. if you post interesting things or upload nice images, you followers will be automatically increased.Or there is an option of buying followers from sites like SEoclerks, listingdock etc.

Follow them and they will follow you back. Just be very careful how many people you UNFOLLOW (especially but follow also) because you can get banned. Twitter is especially douchey in this way...But it works!
