I have some issues with them that I can't resolve for the past couple weeks, because every time I try their support I get some regular copy pasted reply repeating the same stuff and not even bothering to read my inquiry. Any ideas how to get to someone who can actually help solve this? They have good prices but the absolute worst support imaginable!
I have come to the conclusion that Godaddy is just a huge waste of time. I have had clients that used them and I would spend hours dealing with their hosting problems, now I will not touch Godaddy . People want to save .99 a mo and you end up spending 3hrs on one simple issue it's just not worth it.
What are you looking to Host domain or website? I would give you the same advice as averyz did - you might want to try another provider
One thing you can do is contact them on twitter @ godaddy and make sure you keep @ DrBobParsons in the loop. You are sure to get a reply within a few minutes. I recently came to know that godaddy also has live web chat support but that is for select services. You can access live chat support here. https://support.godaddy.com/support/?utm_campaign=support&utm_source=tw&utm_medium=Social
Hey Micheal. What issues? inbox me, Maybe I can help, been with them since 2000. merry Christmas Joseph
Speaking from my own personal experience, unlike most other sites I actually get the best support from GoDaddy on the phone--once they get me to the right department. However, I also call later in the evening (around midnight or so) when they are not swamped. I would try calling after hours first to see if you can resolve it that way with more personal attention.
I've had trouble sending in normal tickets in the past for domain issues, would have to call them and sometimes wait on hold for quite a while (and I think it was long distance at the time) but they would eventually fix it. I can say I've experienced the copy/pasted replies also, which isn't a bad thing, except when it doesn't address the details mentioned within the ticket submitted. If you don't know the answer, give the ticket ownership to someone who does.
Try to find answers for your inquires somewhere else and then start domain transfer to other hosting provider
