how to get SE cred, even though my site's full of aff links(?)

I run an affiliate site @ www.gourmet-goodness.com , full of product links that lead to the checkout page on my advertisers' sites. I've been reading that this will discredit me in Google/Yahoo/MSN's eyes and drive up my CPC prices.

What (ethical) measures can I take to increase my site's credibility in SE's even though gourmet-goodness is full-on aff. style?

    Thanks

Fill your site with high quality content and hope they ignore the affiliate links.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Yeah I have a "blog" section on the homepage in which I am consistently updating with gourmet food news (original, keyword-rich content). I also have a rich description of each item on each of their respective pages.
