My question is how soon can you make a sale using ppc? Does it have to do with what you set your budget to. For example i started my buget at $10 and had good amount of clicks-20-26, then i would add $10 but no sales, so does your budget have to be higher in ppc to start seeing sales.
If your budget is higher that just means that more people are looking. Yes, that does increase sales, but $10 is quite a lot. How much are you paying per click? Try making your keywords more specific.
so if my budget is $10 is it possible to make sales with this amt? cause $10 isn't much but if its what you can afford
I think a lot depends on how much research you did and how well everything is set up. Then too it is trying our what works and doesn't work. Quite a bit of hard work in the beginning.
Depending on what you're targeting, use Googles keyword tool. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Find some searches that are EXTREMELY SPECIFIC to what you're marketing and net more than 5,000 search results per month. Then head over to http://www.spyfu.com/ and check how much advertisers are paying for top spots. Picking a good price:search volume ratio can be difficult. About 5 targeted keywords should be enough to get you at least a sale a day. If not, try experimenting with your ad copy.
With most programs, 20-50 cents a click is OK once your page is optimized and awesome.. But to start, I would recommend finding programs and words that you can get 7-12 cent keywords for.. Long tail ones.. Use that data to tweak and optimize and when you are converting, then tackle the more expensive ones..
I think that it is a very low amount. It should be near about atleast $50. in this way many people can visit you site and the chances of sales will increase and it will compensate your PPC cost.
so the budget does matter, so if my budget is $10 a day, i'm basically will not get any sales but if its higher the better?
renee78, how are you tracking which phrases are actually converting for you through your Google Adwords Account? I ask because unless you have your own landing page, there is no way you can insert your Google Adwords tracking code into the product owners coding? Thanks
