    My site's background color is not white, it's making my site look ugly.

    You could buy out the company for about a trillian or so dollars :p and redo the adsense program

    But seriously , I don't think that is an option .....

    You can't (unless you are a premium publisher with 20M pages views and have googles permission) - the color is determined by google according the background color chosen and you are not allowed to modify the code.

    Modify what code? I am talking about the "Ads by Google" image, not the text, the gif is not invisible, it's making my site look ugly.

    Thats part of the code......Thats what google wants the ads to be known more as " ads " so they ad that image now so it can stand out more

    That does seem to go against Google's optimization tip of blending with a site's current colors to increase the successfulness of the ad in their very own help center for Designing Successful Ads

    But maybe if you take out the image option and force it to show text links only ?
    google_ad_type = "text";
    Code (markup):

    Im sure it would be alot easier to just live with it than risk violating th TOS and having to beg to get your account back.

    ^^^ Definitely. I don't really see why it even matters. Who cares if folks know who serves the ads. As long as they click them, that's all that matters. :)

    I wouldn't worry too much about either. they're pretty small, and seem to rotate between image and text anyway.

    something changing on your site, could lead to being clicked more (positive thinking!)!:D
