You can prevent spam, by not going to solicited sites. But, regardless these days people ask you for email everytime so I doubt it.

I guess when you signup for newsletters you shouldn't complain about spam. When you get emails you didn't ask for you should flag them as spam! That way we create a better place on the internet together!

You post about preventing spam, but your post looks really spammy. You said 'take a look at these..' and then didn't post it. hmm.

I recently had a lot of problems with unsolicited emails, its a pain when checking email on a mobile device and 50 emails for useless products fill your inbox.

All of the spam emails appeared to be from same person, ie their choices of domain name had a very similar format, so I did a who.is lookup on some of the domains they were coming from. Sure enough they were all registered to the same person.

What I did next was fairly time consuming but worked a treat....

I contacted the registrars, there were 3 different ones used, their abuse department asked for the full email (including headers). It took a couple of hours to go through all the offending domains (about 50) but within 24 hours they sent me a list of all the domains they had locked for abuse.

    Result: Nice clean inbox again!

I got stuck with my spam mails. What I do in my case is, just select all without checking and move to trash. I am not sure if there's another way to get rid of it.
