Reddit is one of the best social bookmarking sites and very popular. Apply this thought not only when trying to get traffic. Here is some way to get raddit traffic from your site:
    * How To Submit Your Link To Reddit
    * What To Do After Submitting Your Link
    * Share contents from other websites
    * Get more up-votes and make front page of Reddit and so on.

Reddit is the best social bookmarking site, where you can share your content and get quality back links... if you share quality content then they cannot ban your account.... hope

Just submit a link that is really interesting and do not spam the site because people on reddit are people who likes to read informative stuff and not just spammy things

Find the right subreddit for your site genre and contribute in the comments of the posts. Then once a week or even less you can post a link in the subreddit depending on how popular the subreddit is. If you post too much they will be taken down and your account will get banned.

You can also post your links in the comments where necessary. Don't randomly post links in comments or you will also get banned and your time would have been wasted.

Reddit is a great place for good backlinks but the people on reddit are smart and know exactly what you are doing when you start posting links that are obviously to your site, so you cant do it very often.

Reddit is good, but be sure not to be spammy because not only will the readers take offense, but the mods will ban you for it. I also like StumbleUpon as a traffic source as well.

Good luck. Reddit users bullshit detectors are great. So unless you've actually got something of quality to share, you won't get anywhere with it.
