    The first step is you have to choose more relevant keywords and then optimize the page for those keywords.You can do on page optimization like meta tags,tiltle,site analysis and off optimization like forum posting,article submission,blog commenting and social bookmarking.

    Dear I think you have good knowledge of SEO, can you help me in one question? The question is I want to optimize an affiliate url or directed/domain forwarding url for selling ebook from clickbanks, for the keywords searches are around 7 millions according to Google would I be able to optimize that?

    This is the best advice. Depends on the type of business that your in and the keywords that you want to rank for. Getting to Top 10 on particular terms doesnt happen over night, it takes time depending on your market.

    First you on page optimization in your site like as write informative and unique content on your site, write a meta tag (title, Description, Keywords), use h1 to h6 tag, create sitemap.xml and submit major search engine, create robots.txt file etc..

    Second - off page optimization your site like - directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission, social networking (facebook, twitter, my space), press release etc..

    after this seo process your site get good rank in search engine result page..
