Let me preface this: I know quality organic traffic takes lots of time, links, effort, etc. But... I'm going to enter an online marketing competition and need a good idea for quick traffic that can easily convert. The rules are it can be ecommerce/lead generation/whatever. From past competitions, traditional ecommerce sites have done poorly, other ideas have done better. For example, a free e-book, or free download of trial software, or something like that might be the best. Those are examples of some past winners - the key is lots and lots of conversions. I would also appreciate resources on how to get referrals/downloads/conversions for a specific idea - software, a book, etc. Any good ideas/suggestions?
