I just purchased my first proxy site and am wondering how to increase traffic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
first basic things: add it to many proxy lists sites advertise it on forums, the best forums are high school forums and college forums ( the most traffic) create some additional backlinks from blogs/directories keep the site online, reliable and fast all the time (most people wont return if Your proxy is slow and sometimes won't load) make it "good looking", nice, clean template is also a key.
Do not add it to toplists! They are rubbish annoying and they just dont work, thats my opinion on proxy top sites anyways. However proxy list sites, like this one www.proxypromotions.com ( sorry my own site, not trying to advertise) are usually beneficial, also you do not have to add a link from your website to this site. Proxy site advertising is most beneficial i would say on forum signatures, yahoo groups, yahoo advertising and paid proxy promotions if you do not have the time, or if they offer something that you feel you can not do.
