How to get previlege in Reddit

    I am new here, I am not sure if this post is should be here.

    My question is how you get more Karma or privilege to post in reddit?

    There is link karma and comment karma.

    You get link karma from links you've posted that get likes.

    Similarly, you get comment karma from comments you've posted that get likes.

    OMG thought I'd pop into Reddit and have a look around, it's never really worked for me in the past. I guess it's because I'm new but I'm only allowed to comment once every TEN minutes. No link is worth that crap.

    I agree, the ten minutes limitation is extremely annoying, does anyone know if they ever take it away if you reach a certain level or something?

    I haven't had that issue, at all - ever. So unless you're spamming a link in several subreddits (which goes against their TOS anyway), you shouldn't hit it.

    Yeah, some subreddits impose a Karma threshold to post, etc. You're probably hitting that.

    The only way to get privilege in reddit is to add value to the previous comments and posts. Also you should provide amazing engaging content :)
