I have added the link partners section a few weeks back and i have added some 5 reciprocal links. Can any one tell me how a page get PR and what i should do to get the PR. I saw my page is recently crawled by Apr 11. Can any one tell me is there any relation between the last cached date and PR. Please help me on this
One Way links are better than reciprocal links . Get some links from other high PR Sites < relevant preferred > and you will get the PR wheneva the update takes place . You need to get good backlinks to get a good PR !!
if you want to get a good pr , do not stp link building. you must have more and more backlinks from related web sites
PR is acquired when sites with PR link to you, when Google updates its PR, sites also obtain the PR that is obtained from the sites linked.
If you have done your link building campaign, wait for the next google PR update for the evaluation of your backlinks. If you had checked your links and found out that the list(list of backlinks for your site) is not complete, it may also take some time for the googlebot to crawl the pages of the site in which your link is located. For the one-way links, one good way to acquire this very important link is to write a few articles about your site. Should write it in such a way that your readers will be interested to use your article as their source of content for their website. In return, you'll get a one-way link for your site. My two cents worth... ArdRigh
There is no connection between your site being cached on Google and links. However, incoming links are helpful for new sites as they can help the new site to get indexed. You need to focus on getting more links for your website. My Link Development Guide will be of help to you in this.
Not only quantity links but quality links and GREAT content will do. Remember, if you don't have text (food for spiders), they won't index you. Also, take in consideration that PR is per PAGE and not per site/domain. Try to use links between your pages and also anchorlinks will do great job on this.
I would definitely keep going with the link building. Submit to directories (with internal PR if possible) and submit some articles with links to your site to article listing sites too. Also try to keep your site updated with good content to get some natural links coming in too.
