people always fail to explain pr right, i really need to clarify it sometime

yes PR is important - there is no such thing as high ranking without PR

now a clown will jump and say "NO! that's not true my website got PR N/A and it's ranked on the first page!" so this is the deal, it takes time for the PR to update usually a few months - it doesn't mean your page doesn't have PR you just can't see how much exactly until the update.

it's even more complicated then that - because if your inner pages doesn't have rel="nofollow" (why should they) then your PR is leaking to this pages increasing there PR but the main page PR won't increase until the entire website PR is balanced that's why people don't understand why it's so hard to reach PR5+

this is how it works more or less, bottom line is PR is important YES without PR you don't have a ranking.

PR is worthless unless you want to sell links on your site IMHO. Why otherwise would you want high PR? High PR doesnt mean high traffic.

You need high ranking sites to link back to you to increase your PR. Seeing as your site is basically just a bunch of ads, I doubt you'll get any sites with strength to want to link to you (unless you pay them generously).

You can get the traffic of a PR5 with a PR3 site. PR does not give you visitors, this is very important to know. Focus to get good inlinks and visitors.

Link to high PR site. If you want to get high PR don't get contented to simple submissions which doesn't care about PR. If you want to increase your site PR. Link to PR 5 and up. But this is not easy, you need to be creative to get a link to them.

    Hi,
First thing I noticed about your links is that with about 2000 pages indexed you have around 3000 inbound links.
This ratio is probably why you are stuck at PR3. You are only using about 10 internal links per page...only checked a few.. Google will count internal links up to 100 a page. If you want to increase traffic....which is more important than PR, use a rotation of footer links...say 25...with targeted anchor texts to increase your serps position for your site.
You will increase your PR but more importantly increase traffic through better serp. Dont forget to alternate anchor texts and urls in the footer...Google will discount sitewide links for serps.
All the bits i have read about inbound linking seem fine, but easier linking i have found is set up a blog under a sub.domain. Write about 5-10 150 word reviews on your products and add about 3 or four links to different pages on your site that are relevant mixing up the anchor texts. Dont just go for the most competitive. You will find your traffic increase fairly quickly using this method.
Link from the bottom up, rather than the top down. The links you are creating are not initially of high value...but add a link to your blog in your footer rotation using the different category urls in your blog. This will help your blog also gain value and pump up the reverse PR you are transferring to your site. The blog reviews will also get indexed as 'original content' further increasing traffic to your main site via referral and you should make some money via adsense as well.
    Hope it helps...

    OP:

hmm like always get quality links and comment on high PR blogs, lower PR than yours won't do much.. it's like leveling in a game. low level monsters won't give you more EXP. ;)

wow.. only 2000links..hmm my blog has like 2000 i think but I don't know if it's quality PR's.. it's not rated yet :p
