How To Get PR 3 In Less Then 3 Months

It was just a few days ago that Google updated the PR rankings again but now its time to move on and start working towards the next Google PR update. Now I know many people will tell you that PR is worthless and just another statistic but having a high PR can be beneficial when it comes to selling ad spots.

This blog was recently updated to a PR 3 ranking and I was able to obtain that ranking in less the 3 months. I am going to share what I did to help achieve this ranking.

First and for most you need to remember the words “Link Building”. If you are not doing enough link building you will find it quite difficult to gain PR rankings. One of the most popular ways of building links is by commenting on blogs. This is probably one of the most wide spread methods to help gain inbound links to your site/blog. In my opinion if your going to comment on a blog it makes more sense to find one with a current PR ranking and one that has a “Top Commentators” widget installed. It is also wise to become a frequent commentator as this will display your link on the main page where the highest PR ranking is. Being listed on the main page when a PR update is close to occurring will increase the chances of good PR juice being passed on to your site/blog.

Another method that is commonly used by my self and others is social book marking. It is extremely easy to use and can provide some quick traffic as well as back links. Every time I create a new blog post I will submit it to digg and other sites to get some quick and easy back links.. as well as receive some traffic for it as well.

Now on to my “big secret”. This has been the best result for receiving back links back to Domain Structure and my other sites/blogs. The great thing about this secret is that it serves two purposes for me. While I am gaining back links to my blogs I am also learning an abundance of information. So because it serves two purposed I devote most of my time to it.

Everyday more and more people are creating directories. This is a great resource for receiving a link back to your site or blog. Even though many of them are PR 0 directories they may one day increase in ranking and help pass some PR juice on to your site. I will admit I created a directory and was able to get it up to PR 1 in just a month so never discount a directory just because it is displayed as PR 0. Its still a link pointing back to your site and that is what were trying for right?

The big secret is forum posting. I post only on one forum and its called Digital Point. It is a do follow forum and permits you to display 4 links in your signature space. For every post you make.. you receive 1 back link. I currently have 2,377 so that is 2,377 back links. Some of threads I post in become quite popular and are likely to receive PR juice them selves so I will post in those threads multiple times to increase PR juice passed on to my sites/blogs.

All in all what it comes down to is some hard work and determination. Dont go out and buy links to increase your PR as it can have some drastic effects in the long term. You must also remember that building links to fast will make your links appear to be unnatural and will ultimately hurt you in the long run.

i use digital point and agree it is really good for back links, i do have to admit i dont really like social bookmarking, find it really frustrating.

 

They are good tips in theory.But in fact some sites are getting pr not depending on their backlinks.We can see that some sites with pr 3 or pr 4 with no or few backlinks on google.

Social networking is really useful to get descent PR in no time. So try to do tis thing even if it is boredom to you. Otherwise rent a coder to do this job for few dollars...

missarkie, you need to link the urls in your signature, but unfortunately i can't show you how becuase I'm not privelaged enough yet. something like:

[ url ] your-url-goes-here.com [ /url ]

...but without the spaces

 

Unfortunately, most blogs (ie. every wordpress blog I've found) seem to be nofollow. I guess it just takes some googling.

 

Great post. I have never taken the time to build backlinks. I always get lazy. I just prefer to spend money on advertising. However I will try your methods and see how it goes. See if I can finally get some PR for my site.
