Google updates the PR in 3 months duration. Also the crawling and indexing are totally depends upon when the googlebot visits your website. So this is very difficult to make a certain or fixed a date when your PR . However, you can take part in forums, build links, articles, blogging and various other seo practices to increase your chance to get pr2 at the earliest
I don't think PR2 is possible without anything blackhat / prohibited but I got PR2 on a domain in 3 months on multiple domains without any of these SEO buzzwords / techniques. Just old fashioned content!
I am a beginner website builder myself. I built this running website and it was PR 2 in less than a month. My website building mentor emailed me and let me know that it was already PR 2. I had to Google it to see what it meant. I knew that building links would help me in Google but I honestly did not know about Pagerank. I have been try to build websites now for about 10 months. That's all I do now in my spare time. I'm not that great at it yet but I am learning everyday. I can tell you I did not use any black hat techniques ( I had to Google that too to know what it meant). Mostly what I did was build links from my other websites that I had. I use Studiopress themes and I would make posts in their forums too. Twitter link as well. I'm not sure exactly why it was PR2 in less than a month but it has stayed PR2 now ever since. We will see if it stays there in the future.
You can achieve this goal if you pay more attention to the seo methods for your website. Add more original and useful content to your website.
Bacuse Mr. Larry Page Had written and published the paper on how the page rank is calculated and that paper is still available for free download. And if you check the PR on my second signature link and can discover the sites ( only 2 linking to that site) you will get the confirmation. It is a simple mathematics. So I advice and also follow the strategy " 1 PR7 link" in a month is better than 30 PR3 site's link in a month! I have given the logic and also the proof!
definitely, dofollow backlinks are always welcomed by google, but also remember to regularly update your blog's content cause google love high quality and maintained content too..
PR is of no importance really except for link exchanges. It is the traffic that counts and you can get good traffic or rank higher in SERP with less PR than competitors.
People who fail to take up a site promotion and SEO campaign, often say this. High PR always means that you are linked to good sites. Search engine will show those sites and you get a redirected traffic from them. So it is worth to chase PR in a mission way. You will sure get those visitors in your effort!
Wrong. High PR can also mean that you just bought some links from high PR sites that can be non-relevant too. Does not mean you will get high in SERPs for worthy keywords. PR is a small part of the equation. High PR does not mean you will get good traffic. It can be merely a side effect of having good, worthy contents that others are interested to link to or as I just said, spending some money. You can often see low PR pages rank higher than high PR page in results.
That is because PR what you see in toolbar is not the live value. It is internally updated in Google everyday, but toolbar is updated 3-4 times a year. Have you ever seen a PR6 site with purchased links? I would be interested to know. After panda update, those link purchase and sales are anyhow done! Try to link to a good side when your PR is 0 and find out by yourself if they are interested or not. Linking to a PR0 site leaks too much rank of high PR pages. getting high PR need not to be through thousands of low quality sites. get 1 PR7 site link and you are PR2. Read my previous post for understanding. When you chase PR with understanding of what is link building, it helps in long run.
That is because PR what you see in toolbar is not the live value. It is internally updated in Google everyday, but toolbar is updated 3-4 times a year. Yeah, tell me something I don't know. How does that prove our disprove either of our points? The high PR you see in toolbar may have already gotten downgraded when you see it. Does not mean anything. Do not confuse correlation with causation. Have you ever seen a PR6 site with purchased links? I would be interested to know. After panda update, those link purchase and sales are anyhow done! lol. Can you ever find out what other sites are purchasing links from? Why would I even go to the trouble to find such sites with purchased links just to win a petty debate? Try to link to a good side when your PR is 0 and find out by yourself if they are interested or not. Linking to a PR0 site leaks too much rank of high PR pages. getting high PR need not to be through thousands of low quality sites. get 1 PR7 site link and you are PR2. Read my previous post for understanding. Just as I said, PRs main value is now in exchanging links. When you chase PR with understanding of what is link building, it helps in long run. Agreed. "understanding of what is link building" are the keywords. Not PR. PR is a side effect.
Good tips. I've found it pretty easy to take a new site to PR 2, and takes more than twice the time and effort to get to PR 4 (it's way more than double the links required, I believe). But to get from PR 4 to PR 5 is very difficult. I can't say I even understand it, because I have certain pages within a site than can rank PR5, but they have no more incoming links than the home page, which is a PR4. Some pages that have outbound links rank higher PR than those that don't. So, it seems relevant external links (you linking to someone else's site) actually helps your PR in some cases- which I used to think was the opposite.
If you know all the link building techniques and focused on acquiring them regularly for 2 months, it will certainly make your blog PR2. You can also sponsor contest or run contest on your blog with mechanics: Link to this post or link to my blog.
you continue a link building and the see a result u come in less then 2months in google 1page rank but work hard.
